Carlton Howlett's Obituary
Carlton F. Howlett, 78, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Lemuel and Evelyn (Ryder) Howlett. Carlton retired as a supervisor from Carris Reel. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lorraine (French) Howlett; four children, Karen Bastille and her husband Russell, Beth Galvin and her husband Raymond, Clinton Howlett, and Gail Howlett-Brown; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Norma Howlett; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his twin brother Carlos, and brother Lemuel. His funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 2 P.M. at the Staffordville Gospel Church, 375 East St., Staffordville, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Staffordville Gospel Church, P.O. Box 237, Staffordville, CT 06077.
