Carmela Syphers' Obituary
Carmela "Millie" Syphers, 71, of Tamarac, FL and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Syphers, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of the late Nicholas, Sr. and Rose (Morella) Ingenito. Millie is survived by her 12 children, Gina Durrell and her husband Denis of Stafford Springs, CT, Thomas A. Syphers, Jr. and his wife Bertha of Florida, Dennis Syphers and his companion Karen, Gary Syphers and his wife Crickett, Kenneth Syphers, Ronald Syphers and his wife Beth, all of Stafford Springs, CT, Kevin Syphers and his wife Lisa of Somers, CT, Rosemary Rummel and her husband Robert of Union, CT, Cynthia Syphers of Hampden, MA, Nicholas Syphers and his wife Michele of Stafford Springs, CT, Phillip Syphers and his partner Michael Jeknavorian of Florida, and Gail Sisouphone and her husband Phouvane of Florida; 22 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Phillip Ingenito of Texas; sister, Janet Rizzo and her husband Frank of Kentucky; two brothers-in-law, Lester Syphers of Georgia and Daniel Baker and his wife Susie of Texas; sister-in-law, Margaret Ingenito of New Jersey; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Gennaro Ingenito and Nicholas Ingenito, Jr. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately at Branch Cemetery, Craftsbury, VT. Calling hours are on Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
