Carol Lavoie's Obituary
Carol A. Lavoie, 77, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Ronald G. "Tiny" Lavoie, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Taylor) Pisciotta. Carol worked for many years as a social worker in Stafford. She is survived by her three children, Charlene Gahner and her life companion William Ruff of Norwich, CT, Joseph Marvonek and his wife Aldia of Manchester, CT, and David Lavoie and his wife Katherine of Ellington, CT; daughter-in-law, Carole Marvonek of Florida; numerous beloved grandchildren including Theresa, Timothy, Elizabeth, David, and Christine; many great grandchildren; a great, great granddaughter; four brothers and their wives, John and Linda Pisciotta, Dick and Ginny Pisciotta, Wayne and Jean Pisciotta, and Ron and Patricia Pisciotta; two aunts, Frieda Fontanella and Ramona Jarvis; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Danny Marvonek; daughter, Diane Messeck; and brother, Joseph Pisciotta. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
