Dear Bruce & Family,
So many thoughts float through a person's head at a time like this. Our condolences to you and your boys. It never occurred to me some years ago when I contacted your about the lot next to mine on Village Hill Road that you were the same Petersen that lived just up Lohse Road from the farm that I grew up on. Your name just recently came up in a conversation with some folks in town, and then I saw the obituary for Carol. I'm so sorry for you all. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that Carol probably babysat for me and my siblings many years ago. Now that I've made the connection between you and the lot next door, I will pay much more attention to what happens there. Please feel free to keep in touch.
