Carolyn Henderson's Obituary
Carolyn Ann Henderson, 69, of West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Manchester, CT, daughter of the late David J., Jr. and Caroline F. (Hlobik) Dickson. Carolyn had worked for her parents at Dairy King and Dickson's Restaurant and Laundromat, and First Student as a School Bus driver for many years. She was also active volunteering for the Stafford Bulldogs Youth Football League. Carolyn enjoyed going to all her children and grandchildren's sporting events, cheering them all on. She also enjoyed going to watch dirt bike racing, and spending time with all her loving family members and friends. Carolyn leaves behind her loving children, Caroline Henderson and Fred Hendrickson, Sadie Bassett and Gary Baker, Linda and Steven Litvinchyk, and Elmo Henderson and Brenda Henderson, all of Stafford Springs, CT; her best friend and sister, Kathy Snow and her husband Kenny of Storrs, CT; her grand and great grand children, Christina, Dillon, Rhieva, Amy, Jason, Carrie, Matt, Dakota, Jeremy, Marilyn, Michael, Krista, Joshua, Kayla, Shilo, Jeff, Cheyanne, Nick, Austin, Jay, Derek, Megan, Brent, Summer-Rae, Emily, Kaylee, and a great grand daughter due in April; two special nieces, Cindy and Christy; her loving cat Ms. Dolly; special friends, Elaine Blizinak and Pauline Wagner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sheila Whitney; grandchildren, Thomas Whitney and Arianna Scott; and brother, R. Dickson, Sr. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
