Catherine F. Goolsby's Obituary
Catherine (Feasenmyer) Goolsby, of Stafford Springs, CT, departed this life on Monday, September 12, 2022. Born in Paterson, NJ on September 7, 1936, daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Teunisen) Feasenmyer, she lived in Stafford Springs, CT since 1971 and was a communicant of St. Edward Catholic Church. Catherine had been employed by the Stafford Board of Education before her retirement in 2003. She is survived by her five children, Laura Goolsby, Janice Kennedy, Franklin Goolsby, David Goolsby, and Catherine Goolsby; nine grandchildren, Kathryn, Alice, Kara, Ryan, Deirdre, and Bridget Kennedy, Holden and Hannah Goolsby, and Olivia Rose Pierro; brother, Bill Feasenmyer; and many loved cousins and family members. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Bob Feasenmyer. Her funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. There are no calling hours. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Edward Church, 27 Church St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
