I was always a smart as as a kid. So for my 10th bday aunt Cathy got me a beautiful red fuzzy bra and panty set and a barbie cake. She was my second mother I wouldn't be the same without her. I don't think any of us would. She touched more than just our lives but also our futures. R.I.P. auntie we all love you very much Always & Forever
My favorite memory of Cathy was at one of the many cook outs that I attended thrown by the Ward/Sutherland families. We were sitting around BSing and I was telling her a story about how my bf accidentally wore my jeans to work and I complimented him on how good he looked. We were laughing so hard there were definitely some buck snorts and tears were pouring down our cheeks. I will miss her and her laugh. Don’t worry Cathy, I’ll keep the promise I made to you when we found out you were sick. I’ll make sure your girl will be ok, she’s strong like you, she can make it through anything. May you RIP and continue to guide your girls. I love you.

Cathy was a wonderful woman. A Pleasure to to talk to an hang out with. She had a heart of gold an made you feel welcomed. She will be Greatly missed. R.I.P Cathy
Cathy was an amazing woman who not only raised 3 strong women but helped to raise many more. She took myself and many more in without a second thought. Her and Lee always treated us like we belonged there. The home I have now is that same open door mentality with the kids that I learned from their household. Nothing but love. My heart truly hurts at the loss of such a great person.
