I have very fond memories of Charlie. He was a good dad. I couldn't have asked for a nicer grandfather for Matthew and kerry.I am very thankful to have had him in my life.
I'll never forget our lamb dinner together!
I am so sorry.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I was lucky enough to be aquainted with Charlie through his son and my dearest friend Michael. Back in the day when we all worked on Constitution Plaza in Hartford I would occassionally run into Charlie and it would always be a memorable pleasure. He always had a beaming smile and those wicked blue eyes that completely embraced you!Thank you Charlie for making me feel so special with my one and only "on the air" birthday wish from you! Love your Knockout!
Sincerest condolences to your entire family. When I first came to Connecticut in 1980 Charlie and Bob Steele were the legends on the radio in the morning and both were very welcoming to me. Later, I found out that Charlie and I had grown up in the same neighborhood(a few years apart) and we would always share memories about growing up in Medford. He was a charming man to know, and comforting on the air. My wife Betsy and I will always miss him.

It was a privilage and great fortune to get to know Charlie at JMH. When he stepped off the elevator in the morning it was always like having the sun break out from behind the clouds! He will be greatly missed by all of us and yet he will always be close by in our hearts.
My deepest sympathy to your family. I grew up watching Charlie's forecasts and was sorry to hear of his passing.

I hope you remember me from Canton High. You were a high school English teacher and I was the 7th & 8th grade Guidance Counselor. We had more than a few conversations on a variety of topics including your dad's career as fair weather Charlie. You were so proud of him and I was so saddened to read of his passing. Like so many others, I really enjoyed his style and easy going manner. I just wanted to say hello, express my sympathy and hope you are doing well. Perhaps you remember our bus trip to Foxwoods or was it Mohegan Sun?

Uncle "Bud" was one of my favorite relatives, so funny and full of life. I didn't get to see him often enough in recent years but childhood memories of family reunions are vivid and I'm so happy to have made the reunion for Aunt Millie's 90th birthday. One of my fondest memories is of the Bagley clan at various cousin's weddings. Whenever the crowd would induce the bride and groom to kiss by clinking their glasses, the Bagleys would launch into a loud rendition of "The Bells of St. Mary's", with Uncle Buddy always singing the loudest. I thought was a hilarious. The Bagleys were, and are an irreverent bunch, and none more than Fair Weather Charlie. RIP
Gerry, Kerry & Matthew and all the Bagley family...my sincere sympathy to you all on the loss of your father and grandfather. He was special to so many!
