Charles Pippin,'s Obituary
Charles F. Pippin, Sr., 74, of Ference Rd., Ashford, CT, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Wilfred and Emma (Dolt) Pippin. Charles was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran, and retired from Hartford Hospital as a maintenance worker. Charles is survived by his three sons, Charles F. Pippin, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Stafford Springs, CT, Edward A. Pippin of Stafford Springs, CT, and Wayne Pippin and his wife Margaret of Woodstock, CT; two grandchildren, Amy and Brian Pippin; his former wife, Rose (Bombardier) Pippin; a brother, Francis; three sisters, Jane, Joan, and Jean; a special niece, Rosemarie Michalec and her husband Gary; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, William Pippin, and a sister, Thelma Laviolette. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be private. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
