Denise Kana
Dear Auntie Tinie,
Even though it has been 4 years, since you left this sometimes painful time on earth (l found out on the computer, at the library in Wilmington Vermont) l still miss you.
I remember calling Aunt Betty, and we spent a while chatting about how amazing and strong you were, throughout your entire life.
How much we love you ❤️
Learning about Auntie Anna Mae on Saturday, has me thinking about you.
I know how close you were to her (and she to you)
I still have the 8×10 photo of your January 7, 1950 wedding day. She being your Maid of Honor.
Aunt Betty was not even 8 years old in the photo.
When my own mom left me in February 2001, all 4 of my dad's younger sisters, stepped up to the plate. I will never forget all of you for that.
I made sure to let Auntie Anna Mae's family know that, in an online condolence.
Now l'm letting you know.
I sent a card to Aunt Betty and Uncle Billy today.
She loved all her siblings so much. I know that, through conversations with her.
I know you and Auntie Anna Mae called me Denise, not my nickname DeDe.
My dad gave me that nickname 😊
So l end with the name ...
