My sincerest sympathy goes out to Chris’ parents and other family members and all his friends and everyone who knew him in any way. His passing leaves a giant hole in our lives that will never be filled. I feel thankful that I knew Chris when I did and that we had so many good times over the years. Saturday night bonfires, cookouts, playing frisbee in the front yard, electronic dance music blasting from the basement, playing darts for hours (Chris could get pretty competitive), jumping in a pond when it was hot or the hot tub when it was cold, playing music together (how many Tori Amos songs did this guy know?), that windy, warm and super fun trip to Montreal (did we go twice?), just sitting around and making each other laugh for hours on end, playing with the dogs that he loved so much...Chris was passionate, super creative and artistic, headstrong, and just a beautiful person. He had a powerful, infectious laugh and he gave great hugs. Being around him was energizing and fun. We’re not going to be able to get together one more time the way we planned, but that’s OK. It’ll all be OK, eventually. Rest easy, friend.
