Claire Bachiochi's Obituary
Claire (Berard) Bachiochi, 83, of Cooper Lane, Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Geno Bachiochi, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Arthur and Leontine (Cartier) Berard. Claire retired as a manager from the Worker’s Federal Credit Union. She was a member of St. Edward Parish, and former member of the Board of Directors for the Worker’s Federal Credit Union. Claire dedicated her life to her family and is survived by her five children, David Bachiochi and his wife Jill of Stafford Springs, CT, Michael Bachiochi and his wife Linda of Stafford Springs, CT, Donna Bourque and her husband Peter of Stafford Springs, CT, Peter Bachiochi of Mansfield, CT, and Lisa Bachiochi and her husband Bill Keane of Branford, CT; 15 grandchildren, Jessica, Jeffrey, Steven, Tony, David, Andrew, Cathy, Chrissy, Jonathan, Michael, Danielle, Peter, Amanda, Billy, and Niue; four great grandchildren; a brother, Lionel Berard and his wife Anne of Springfield, MA; brother-in-law, Nello Bachiochi of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately at St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to St. Edward Church, 6 Benton St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
