Clifford Gannon's Obituary
Clifford H. Gannon, 89, of Meadow Lane, Stafford Springs, CT, died Thursday, March 16, 2006 at home with his family. He was the widower of the late Madeline (Belisle) Gannon who died July 28, 2002. Clifford was born in Middletown, CT, the son of the late Harry J. and May (Healey) Gannon. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, and retired custodian from Dwight Elementary School. He was a member of St. Bernard's Church and an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Clifford is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Gloria Gannon of North Bridgeton, ME, and Dan H., Sr. and Pam Gannon of Stafford Springs, CT; three daughters and sons-in-law, Maureen and Bill Raymond of Colchester, CT, Jean and Victor Birch of Coventry, CT, and Mary and Tim Ogier of Tennessee; and 15 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard's Church, 25 St. Bernard's Terrace, Rockville, CT. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville, CT. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main Street, Stafford Springs, CT.
