Clifford Jensen's Obituary
Clifford P. Jensen, 78, of Chestnut Hill Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Rockville General Hospital, Vernon, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Jens P. and Della F. (Richardson) Jensen. Cliff was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft after 39 years of employment from internal security. Cliff was a member of Wolcott Lodge #60 AF & AM of Stafford, V.F.W. Post No. 9990 of Stafford, Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion of Stafford, West Stafford Cemetery Association, and the Stafford Senior Center. A committed family man, he was also a huge NASCAR/Tony Stewart fan, enjoyed watching UCONN Women’s Basketball and horsepulls, and walking. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Cliff is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorraine B. (Anderson) Jensen; five children, Debbie Fish and her husband Bill, Dawn Ondek and her husband Bob, Peter Jensen and his wife Susan, Eileen Kapinos and her husband Ed, and Kim Thorpe and her husband John; 11 grandchildren, Stephanie, Melanie Andersen and her husband B.J., Bobby, Nicole, Joe, Clifford, Nikki, Ashley, Sierra, Zachary, and Devin; and five great grandchildren, Ashten, Alexis, Ally, Valerie, and Arabella. His funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
