Clifford E. Stoudt's Obituary
Clifford E. Stoudt, 47, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. He was born in Windham, CT, son of Earl R. and Karen (Simonton) Stoudt. Cliff worked as an operations manager for MetLife. He was a longtime coach for softball, basketball, and soccer, a former board member for Stafford Little League, and treasurer for the Town of Stafford Youth Basketball League. His favorite teams were the New York Yankees and Chicago Bears. Cliff was known for being able to recall any player, stat, and position of any sporting game he had ever watched or read about. Above all, he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family. Besides his parents, Cliff is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Liza (Ordway) Stoudt; three children, Zoe and Hanna McAvoy, and Addyson Stoudt; sister, Amy Redding and her husband Sean, and their children, Josephine and Ana; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kent and Darlene Ordway; sister-in-law, Laura Ordway and her daughter, Rylee; aunt and uncle, Bill and Pauli Haggis; cousin, Darcie (Haggis) Howlin and her husband Declan, and their two sons, Sean and Connor; and close friends, Dan Dolyak and Paul Cloutier.
