He was a great teacher. He will be missed
My deepest sympathy to the family of Clyde Hall. I have lots of great memories of Clyde at the Alpha Nu Chapter of AGR at UConn.
Edwin Whitehead, Class of 1963
In 1962, Clyde was my "Big Brother" in the AGR Fraternity at UConn. He was supposed to set the example for good behavior and civility for me. However, for those that new Clyde, they knew he was fun loving and very gregarious. These were the qualities I especially enjoyed about Clyde, and I tried to emulate them. But I soon learned these same qualities could quickly get you "in a bind". Clyde always seemed to have the "gift of gab" and was quickly able to avert any difficulties he may have created. I was never able to achieve his "gift of gab", so I had to be very careful whenever I was in his company.
I always enjoyed your company, Clyde!

My sincere sympathy and condolences to his family and friends. Clyde was a very special person in many people's lives. I knew him from a early childhood living in Willington. He was a friend of my dad and a devoted person with the scouts in town. I have many good memories of him and of the gracious things he did for people of this town and beyond. He will be sadly missed by many that he became friends with. He was a devoted family many and teacher to many students. I sincerely give my prayers and thoughts to his family during this difficult time. May he rest in peace and his memories live everlasting. 🙏🙏🙏✝️️ .

Mr. Hall was my 5th grade teacher and homeroom. I remember him fondly. He had some corny jokes that I still remember to this day. My love of science started with him. My condolences to his family and all that knew him.
