Constance A. Derosier's Obituary
Constance “Connie” A. Derosier, 66, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Roland and Josephine (Cameron) Dumond. Connie is survived by her sister, Sherrie (Dumond) Gioia and her husband Alan of New Hartford, CT; brother, James Derosier and his wife Monique of California; many cousins and friends, including her special friends, Donna Kaminsky, Bev Munns, and Lou-Anne Petit-Archer; and her fur babies, Parker, Wilson, Percy, Allie and Teeny Tiny. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the love of her life and partner of 23 years, Kimberlee Cieski.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a celebration of life at 12:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. We will gather to honor the life of Connie, whose kindness, humor and unwavering compassion touched everyone who knew her. Connie had a gift for making people feel seen and cared for, and she poured that same love into every animal she encountered. Her dedication to animal welfare was not just a passion, it was a defining part of who she was. To celebrate Connie in a way that reflects her spirit, the family invites guests to dress casually. Wearing blue or purple, her favorite colors, is encouraged. Those who wish to honor her lifelong commitment to animals are welcome to wear animal-welfare shirts, pins or gear.
Connie’s legacy lived on in the countless lives she brightened – both human and animal. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
