Genevieve D. 'Gene' Tetrault, 69, of Tetrault Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Rutland, VT, daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Lique) Vassau. Gene retired from Conval Incorporated having worked as a materials planner. She was a member of St. Edward Parish and former member of the West Stafford Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos. Gene is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Sylvan A. Tetrault; her three children, Teresa Boivin and her husband George, Joseph Tetrault and his wife Wendy, and Sherri West, all of Stafford Springs, CT; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Christine, Jason, Tony, Ben, and Heather; two great grandchildren, Cameron and Shane; five sisters, Shirley Baldwin of New York, Janice Collins and her husband Harold of Florida, Sandra VanAlstyne and her husband Al of New York, Barbara Duquette and her husband Ken of Stafford Springs, CT, and Linda Vaiciulis and her husband Jim of Stafford Springs, CT; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
