Dagfin A. Jakobsen's Obituary
Dagfin A. Jakobsen, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Evergreen Health Care Center. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Anfeldt and Dagny (Hansen) Jakobsen. He worked as a textile handler for the Warren Woolen Company for many years. Dagfin is survived by his two sisters, Ingrid McGuire and her husband Thomas, and Sylvia Davis; two sisters-in-law, June and Nancy Jakobsen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Ingolf, Frank and Ralph Jakobsen; and a brother-in-law, Paul Davis. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 9 to 10 A.M., followed by a funeral service at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
