Daniel Prucker's Obituary
Daniel F. Prucker, 65, of Willington, CT, husband of the late Shirley (Adams) Prucker, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Wesley and Dorothy (Fitzgerald) Prucker. Dan worked in experimental engineering at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 41 years. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Tolland. He was also an avid fan of Quarter Midget Racing. Dan is survived by a son, Geoffrey O. Prucker and his wife Laurie of Stafford Springs, CT; two daughters, Tamar M. Nivison of Oklahoma, and Marlene and David Wert of Mansfield, CT; five grandchildren, Krista, Wesley, Greg, Candice, and Jesse; three brothers, Tom Prucker and his wife Linda of Florida, Brian Prucker and Sue Locke of Union, CT, and Joseph Prucker of Middletown, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Barry Prucker. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 10 A.M. at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Tolland, Hartford Turnpike, Tolland, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
