Darlene (Mandak) Jenkins, 70, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of Anne (Szynal) Mandak and the late Paul Mandak. Darlene had retired as a social worker and enjoyed gardening in her spare time. Besides her mother Anne, Darlene is survived by her brother, Leonard Mandak and his wife Donna; step children, Richard R. Jenkins, IV and his wife Debbi, Joseph Jenkins, Amy Poissant and her husband Kevin, and Michael Jenkins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her partner, Edward Hillman; special sister, Debbie DaDalt Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard R. Jenkins, III. Funeral services with burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
