David E. Cormier's Obituary
David E. Cormier, 68, of North Windham, CT, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Windham Hospital. He was born in Castin, ME, son of the late Henry and Norma (Tozier) Cormier. David proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #17 of Manchester, American Legion Post No. 19 of Willimantic, and former member of Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff American Legion Post No. 26 of Stafford. David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Katherine (Chernushek) Cormier; daughter, Jennifer Cormier; three siblings, Kenneth Cormier and his wife Jennifer, Judy Targett, and Susan Cormier; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Henry Cormier. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 2-4 P.M. with a funeral service and Military Honors to take place at 4 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial at the State of Connecticut Veterans’ Cemetery, Middletown, CT, will be held at a later date.
