David J. Daigle's Obituary
David J. Daigle, 57, of Ellington, CT passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at home. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of Lorraine (Carter) Daigle and the late Leopaul A. Daigle, Sr. Dave worked as carpenter for his father’s business, Daigle Remodeling, for many years. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Kansas City Chiefs, and he greatly enjoyed watching all sports. Dave liked to cook for people, and bring it to others to share with them. He was a great sportsman and soccer player, and he enjoyed playing darts. He was a good hearted man with a giving nature, and he was always happy to help people. Dave is survived by his mother, Lorraine Daigle; his daughter, Jessica Salzarulo and her husband Paul; three grandchildren, Paul Hunter, Gabriella Karen and Carter Joseph Salzarulo; four siblings, Diane White and her husband Michael, Nancy Pisieczko, Karen DePasquale and her husband John, and Leopaul Daigle, Jr.; his sister-in-law, Maria Daigle; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Karen (Lombino) Daigle; and his brother-in-law, Steven Pisieczko. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 1 PM to 2 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30 PM at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco, ME, at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Stafford Little League, P.O. Box 41, Stafford, CT 06075.
