David Dickson's Obituary
David J. Dickson, 58, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Robert J., Sr. and Shirley A. (Irish) Dickson. David was previously employed as a maintenance mechanic with local companies. He was a member of the Italian Benefit Society. He enjoyed most his "fleet" of vehicles, slots, stories to be told, and above all his daughters, their families, and his best friend, Kim. David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kim (Allen) Dickson; three daughters, Victoria L. Salzarulo and Dan Spanswick, Stephanie L. Toney and her husband Trevor, and Rebecca A. Bedford and her husband William; six grandchildren, Anthony David and Matthew Salzarulo, Jillian Spanswick, and Caitlin, Ethan, and Noah Toney; four brothers, Robert Dickson and his wife Susan, Gary Dickson and his wife Gail, Alan Dickson, and Jeffrey Dickson; his sister, Heidi Pack and her husband Michael; his dog, Maggie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
