David Usher's Obituary
David L. Usher, 61, of Old Stafford Rd., Tolland, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at his home. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Leonard and Joyce (Kibbe) Usher. David was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and retired as a foreman from the former Johnson's Mill. He was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion. David is survived by his two brothers, Richard Usher of Springfield, MA, and James Usher of Tolland, CT; a sister, Diane Clifford of Stafford Springs, CT; several nieces and nephews; and three special great nephews and a great niece who were the lights of his life, Gaberial, Devin, Meadow, and Joseph. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Usher. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 5-7 P.M. with a funeral service at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in South Cemetery, Tolland, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 26, 10 Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
