David C. Zalewa's Obituary
David C. Zalewa, 69, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Evergreen Health Care Center. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Charles and Stephanie (Stachelsky) Zalewa. David served in the United States Army, and formerly worked as a cashier at the Travels of America center in Willington, CT. He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian (Huffmire) Zalewa; seven children, David Zalewa and his wife Amanda, Tonja Zalewa VanCleave and her husband Greg, Misty Zalewa, Louis Zalewa, Orrin Parmenter, Richard Parmenter, and Dodie Parmenter; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Zalewa and his wife Margaret. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 4-6 P.M. with a funeral service and Military Honors to take place at 6 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
