Delores M. Gray's Obituary
Delores M. (Fain) Gray, 92, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Complete Care at Fox Hill with her family and faithful dog Binx at her side. She was born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Angelo and Anna (Blahusiak) Fain. Delores was a skilled nurse, spending her entire career at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs; however, her main focus was raising her three children, Donna Gray, Mary Ann Gray and Gary Gray (wife Heidi Gray). Her joy and pride were her five grandchildren, Seth Gray (wife Jennifer Graham), Sarah Regan (Gray), (husband Thomas Regan), Kyle Comeau, Nathan Gray (wife Sarah Gray) and Toby Gray (wife Sonya Glickman), and her four great-grandchildren, Liam, Daisy, Milo and Daphne. Delores was perhaps most known for her commitment to rescuing dogs who had been forgotten and abandoned and gave them their forever homes. We celebrate a life well-lived, on her own terms, with an incredible strength and unfailing loyalty to family, friends and four legged pets. Job well done! A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a gathering at her home, located at 150 East St., Stafford Springs, CT. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to The Simon Foundation, 120 Rescue Ln., Bloomfield, CT 06002.
