Dennis Champagne's Obituary
Dennis J. Champagne, 62, of Schwanda Rd., Staffordville, CT, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Rockville General Hospital, Rockville, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Edward P. and Sophie (Drobnica) Champagne. Dennis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired as a supervisor from Lyman Products. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Carol (Brooks) Champagne of Staffordville, CT; four children, Jim Champagne of Staffordville, CT, Stacey Walker and her husband Kevin of Maine, Dionne Silver and her husband Robert of Vernon, CT, and Shelley Donahue and her husband Ryan of East Windsor, CT; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Ciara, Rachel, Sarah, James, Justin, Alexandra, Ashley, and Lindsey; three siblings, Edward Champagne of Staffordville, CT, Wayne Champagne and his wife Cheryl of Rocky Hill, CT, and Paulette Depeau and her husband David of Virginia Beach; and two nieces. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 1 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St.., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
