Dock R. Sellers' Obituary
Dock R. Sellers, 81, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. He was born in Mullins, SC, son of the late Dock C. and Sarah (Turner) Sellers. Dock served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was the longtime owner/operator of Connie’s Barber Shop in Stafford Springs. Dock truly loved his job and visiting with all his customers. He was also involved in Town of Stafford politics for many years, eventually creating the Open Party. Dock was always a kind and loyal person, who would do anything for anyone. He will be dearly missed. Dock is survived by his wife, Lillian Guzman; step son, Frank Perez; brothers, Earl and Ronald Sellers; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Julie Sellers; and his brother, Max Sellers. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
