Dolores Talamini's Obituary
Dolores Mary (Introvigne) Talamini, 81, of George St., Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Attilio “Tal” Talamini, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2010, after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, on December 14, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph and Alba (Michielini) Introvigne. Dolores was a member of St. Edward Parish, member and former officer of the Catholic Daughters, and a member and former officer of the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, dancing, gardening, bird watching, and especially cooking. Dolores mostly loved her family. She graduated from the Hartford Academy of Hairdressing and owned and operated her own beauty salon business for many years. Dolores is survived by her five children and their spouses, Lori and Frank Monico of Burlington, CT, Lynn Talamini and Wayne Fisher of Vermont, Donna and Paul Parrow, Alan and Patrice Talamini, and Ann and Phil Maynard, all of Stafford Springs, CT; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, Carly Sanborn, Jason Talamini, Carey Dooley, Ahren Hervey, Kristin Holland, Jessica Soucy, Evan Monico, Julie Monico, Paul Parrow III, Mindy Maynard, and Tyson Maynard; 11 great grandchildren, Damian, Brett, Megan, Dante, Norah, Natalia, Claire, Kate, Aiden, Camden, and Dylan. Dolores also leaves her brother, Rev. Raymond Introvigne of St. Mary’s Parish in Coventry, CT; and her sister, Jean (Introvigne) Vinci of Bocca Raton, FL. Dolores also leaves many special nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph A. Introvigne. The family would like to extend a personal thank you to Dan Walker, Jeanne Bouthillier, and Jewel Swift for their wonderful care and support. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
