Donald A. Della Bella's Obituary
Donald A. Della Bella, 88, of Bolton, CT, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, just four days short of his 89th birthday. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Angelo and Rosanna (Allard) Della Bella. Donald was the former long-time owner/operator of Della Bella Furniture House in Stafford Springs. Over his long career he estimated that he installed more than 10,000 floors in homes in Stafford Springs and neighboring towns. He was a soft-spoken man with a sharp wit, a hard worker, and an avid New York Yankees fan. He also enjoyed reading, spending time outdoors or at the beach, and above all loved being with family. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sylvia (Posocco) Della Bella; daughter, Alison Nadeau and her husband Ken; his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Kiara Nadeau; sister, Judy Lusa and her husband Paul; brother, Peter Della Bella and his wife Kandi; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements.
