Donald Woods' Obituary
Donald R. Woods, 50, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, April 21, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on July 31, 1957 to Donald R. and Betty L. (Bailey) Woods. Donald was a graduate of Stafford High School and was employed by Sermatech of Manchester for 24 years. He was an avid Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He had a love for photography and enjoyed taking pictures of the family and sharing them. He was a loving, caring, and giving father, son, and brother. He devoted his life to his children. He will be deeply missed by all. Donald is survived by his son and daughter, Derrick and Danielle of Stafford Springs, CT; his parents, Donald R. and Betty L. (Bailey) Woods of Stafford Springs, CT; a brother, Thomas Woods of North Carolina; two sisters, Kim Garrell and her husband Ken of Massachusetts, and Karen Bessette and her husband Wayne of Texas; and eight nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
