Donna C. Moriarty's Obituary
Donna C. Moriarty, 68, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 4, 2015. She was born in Everett, MA, daughter of the late Harold and Grace (White) Chadwick. Donna was most recently employed at Eastern Connecticut State University. Prior to that, she was a teacher at St. Edward School for more than 18 years. Donna was a faithful parishioner of St. Edward Church, member of Court Isabella #785 Catholic Daughters of America, and Chairperson of the Awards Committee and a Trustee for the Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation of Stafford. She also enjoyed her hobby of crocheting, making potholders, hats, and baby blankets, many of which she donated. Donna is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 39 years, Francis Moriarty; three children, Lisa Moriarty, Jennifer Corti and her husband Robert; and Jeffrey Moriarty and his partner Walter Vosburgh; two cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Alexandra Corti; and her brother, Ronald Chadwick and his wife Sandra. Her funeral will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
