Doris E. Forgette's Obituary
Doris E. (Premo) Forgette, 90, of Willington, CT, loving wife of the late Frank J. Forgette, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017. She was born in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Francis and Doris (Howe) Premo. Doris was a graduate of Windham High School. She retired from the University of Connecticut after 41 years of service, working in various areas, the last one being in the international student’s office. She volunteered for many years at Rockville General Hospital in the Emergency Department. Doris enjoyed traveling and traveled extensively, including a four month RV adventure trip to Alaska with her husband. She enjoyed every day of her life, and strongly believed that life should be lived fully. Doris leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and also many friends, especially those from the Willington Senior Center. Lovingly thought of as a classy lady, she will truly be missed by her family and friends. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
