Doris Mattesen's Obituary
Doris Mattesen, 97, of Windsor Locks, CT, beloved wife of the late Charles S. Mattesen, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Bickford Health Care Center, Windsor Locks, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Chester A., Sr. and Lena (Millet) Burdick. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. Doris is survived by her son, Russell Mattesen and his wife Eleanor of Windsor Locks, CT; five grandchildren, Maureen Lisotto and her husband John of Tennessee, Rusty Mattesen of Windsor Locks, CT, Gary Mattesen and his wife June of Suffield, CT, Sharon Pfaffenbichler and her husband Ken of Windsor Locks, CT, and Thomas Mattesen and his girlfriend Michele Taylor of Windsor Locks, CT; nine great grandchildren, David and Shayla Mattesen, Michelle and Bobby Lisotto, Timmy and Sarah Pfaffenbichler, and Casey, Charles, and Corey Vogt; and several nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
