Doris Sanger's Obituary
Doris M. Sanger, 95, of Staffordville, CT, wife of the late Selah R. Sanger, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Staffordville, CT, daughter of the late Omer and Maude H. (Smith) Cooley. Doris was a member of the Stafford Fire Department No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, and Stafford Historical Society. She was also active in the Girl Scouts, and was an airplane spotter during World War II. Doris is survived by her son, Donald Sanger and his wife Jeanne; three grandchildren, Loretta Sanger, Cindy Rhine and her husband Charles, and Douglas Sanger; four siblings, Ralph Cooley and his wife Marjorie, Richard Cooley and his wife Cynthia, Jean C. DuPont, and Olive Cooley; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marjorie Bren and Winifred Reynolds. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
