Dorothy Bourque's Obituary
Dorothy A. Bourque, 88, of West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Robert F. Bourque, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009. She was born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Raymond and Esther (Guertin) Buxton. Dorothy retired as a cook from the Stafford Public Schools system. She was a member of St. Edward Parish and the Stafford Senior Center. Dorothy is survived by her four sons, Robert R. Bourque and his wife Lesley of Stafford Springs, CT, Daniel J. Bourque of Unionville, CT, Stephen M. Bourque and his wife Mary of Enfield, CT, and Peter F. Bourque and his wife Donna of Stafford Springs, CT; a daughter, Claire L. Niederwerfer and her husband Frank of South Windsor, CT; 10 grandchildren, Wayne, Raymond, Jennifer, Michael, Melissa, Matthew, Danielle and Peter Bourque, Kelly Eddinger and her husband Zach, and Kimberly Niederwerfer; a great grandson, Gavin Eddinger; a brother, Raymond Buxton and his wife Mary; three sisters, Doris Pennington, Alice Preece, and Elizabeth Buxton; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Connolly; and three brothers, Elliot, Herbert and William Buxton. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
