Dorothy P. Hillman's Obituary
Dorothy P. Hillman, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Clyde “Red” Hillman, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Harry and Belva (Curtis) Preuss. Dorothy had worked as a production worker at AMF CUNO. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Stafford Senior Center, and enjoyed playing Bingo. Dorothy is survived by her three children, Edward Hillman, Belva LaValley, and Janet Kelly; four grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. with a memorial service to take place at 4 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 8 Church St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately at Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 8 Church St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
