I'm so sorry to hear for the families loss. The family has my thoughts and prayers. Doug always had a joke to tell us when he was in the store. Even if it was a very bad day Doug was always able to make us smile. I thank him so much for that.
Doug never walked by without stopping to say hi and cheer us up with a great joke. He cared about everyone he knew - family and friends alike. I always enjoyed hearing a Honey the dog story. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. My sincere condolences to Marie and his children and grandchildren.
Marie and family, I am so sorry to hear about Doug, as you know we always had that New Jersey connection. He used to remind me of the Bloomfield/Clifton rivalry! He was such a nice man always with a funny story or joke. I know this is a hard time for you and your family, if you need anything please don't hesitate to call! He will be missed very much. Love to you and God Bless! Nancy (Dr. Tucker's office)
Doug will long be remembered by the many people who experienced his wit and astute observations. He helped many people throughout his career and he will be missed. When the tears have dried may these memories bring a smile to our hearts.
You will be missed by all of us. You were a wonderful friend and neighbor and we hope you are at peace and without pain. Remember we are here for you Marie at this time our love and prayers are with you.
Uncle Doug as we called him with our kids. What a great individual. Always had a joke and made you smile. We remember the sharing about plants and gardens, fishing up at the NH cottage, and always giving great advice. We all loved spending our time with him. He will be missed dearly. Our condolences to Marie and your family. He was a wonderful person. Love the Gowash's and Bley's, Ken, Tammy, Devin, Nathan, and Zach
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Doug many years ago and always loved his sharp, irreverent sense of humor and insights into the people he worked with. I greatly appreciated having him as a co-worker.
Had a lot of good times with Uncle Doug, as we would call him. Always had time to teach, share his passions, and listen. Great man that we will miss!
