Edgar "Pinky" White,'s Obituary
Edgar C. “Pinky” White, Jr., 83, of Hydeville Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Josephine (Gregorio) White, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Edgar C., Sr. and Carolyn F. (Barter) White. Pinky was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and was the owner/operator of the former Stafford Paper Company. He was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, and Wolcott Lodge No. 60 AF & AM of Stafford. Pinky is survived by his three daughters, Carolyn Williams of South Carolina, Theresa Wilcox and her husband James of Stafford Springs, CT, and Fran Reynolds of Manchester, CT; three grandchildren, Heather Hoynes, Jay Wilcox, and Matt Reynolds; two great grandsons, Bryce and Gavin; and a sister, Elizabeth Nothe of Brimfield, MA. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 10-12 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by burial with Military Honors at 12:30 P.M. at Stafford Springs Cemetery, Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
