Edward Carroll's Obituary
Edward J. Carroll, 78, of Willington Hill Rd., Willington, CT, beloved husband of the late Edith 'Penny' Carroll, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Windham Community Memorial Hospital, Windham, CT. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Joseph B. and Elizabeth (Hatzmann) Carroll. Ed retired as vice president from Scherer Steel Company. He was a member of St. Jude Parish and St. Philip the Apostle Parish. Ed is survived by his three sons, Steven E. Carroll of East Hartford, CT, Bruce J. Carroll and his wife Valorie of North Carolina, and Robert P. Carroll and his fianc Ann Konstantinidis of Willington, CT; and two granddaughters, Brittney Scott Carroll and Alison Bryce Carroll. He was predeceased by a son, Scott P. Carroll. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 2 P.M. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT. Burial will follow in St. Philip Cemetery, Ashford, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
