Edward Dion's Obituary
Edward L. Dion, 84, of West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT on June 25, 1922 son of the late Ferdinand and Eva (Brouillette) Dion. Edward was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a foreman in the tool and dye department. He was a member of St. Edward Parish and the Stafford Fish and Game Club. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lillian C. (DaDalt) Dion; four sons and their wives, Edward and Darlene Dion, Frederick and Sharon Dion, all of Stafford Springs, CT, David and Barbara Dion of Willington, CT, and Alan and Andrea Dion of Ashford, CT; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a sister, Jeanette Tetrault of North Port, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Dion. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2006 from 12:30-1:30 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 P.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
