Edward N. Fisher's Obituary
Edward N. Fisher, 80, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. He was born in Beverly, MA, son of the late Edward H. and Isabelle (McLean) Fisher. Ed retired in 1995 from Emhart Glass as a distribution manager. He enjoyed his retirement and winters in Nokomis, FL. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, Rev. Felix J. O’Neil Council #1395 Knights of Columbus, Stafford Lions Club, Connecticut Manufacturing Association, and was a co-founder of the Stafford Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Doris (Baron) Fisher; three children, Debra Fisher and her husband Ralph Botnick, Elaine Walker and her husband Mark, and Jack Fisher and his wife Sharon; five grandchildren, Sarah, Isaiah, Moriah, Matthew, and Amelia; four great grandchildren, Paloma, Elijah, Sophia, and Luca; sister, Jean Johansen of Anaheim, CA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a large circle of friends. His funeral will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately at a later date. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
