Edward Hnath's Obituary
Edward G. Hnath, 72, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late June (Kafka) Hnath, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late George and Helen (Naglack) Hnath. Ed was a U.S. Navy Sea Bee veteran, and was self employed as a carpenter and owner of E.G. Hnath Flooring. He was a member of the Crystal Lake Yacht Club in Ellington, and the International Sunfish Class Association. Ed is survived by his son, Patrick Hnath and his wife Kerry of Hull, MA; his step children, Donald Barrows of Willington, CT, Stephen Barrows of Vermont, and Darlene LaPointe of Tolland, CT; five grandchildren; a sister, Loretta Case and her husband Robert E. Case, Sr. of Tolland, CT; a niece, Kim Case; two nephews, Robert E. Case, Jr. and Lance Case; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Philip Hnath, and a sister, Eileen Hnath. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donation may be made to the ASPCA, P.O.
