Edward M. Lukas' Obituary
Edward M. Lukas, 64, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021. Ed was born in Rockville, CT, on September 28, 1956, and was the son of the late Nicholas and Norma (Hamel) Lukasiewski.
After graduating from Rockville High School, Ed proudly served our country in the United States Navy until 1980. Throughout Ed's life, he was considered a jack of all trades, holding various positions that dynamically showcased his abilities. Later in life, he found his niche as an arborist, where he finished off his career as a foreman with the Asplundh Tree Expert Company.
Throughout the years, Ed had many hobbies which he shared with his family and friends. He spent much of his time fishing, boating, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles and enjoying the great outdoors. He enjoyed travelling to Stowe, VT with his 1973 Mustang Mach 1 convertible, where he won first place in multiple classic car shows. Ed was a handy man at heart and could be found building or fixing anything that needed repairing. His witty sense of humor and robust laughter will truly be missed.
