Edward R. Meyers, 85, of Springfield, MA, died Monday, May 4, 2009. He was born in New York, NY, son of the late Edward and Eva (Furness) Meyers. Edward was a career retired U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and Vietnam. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 1 P.M. at Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements.
