Edward R. Palacko Sr.'s Obituary
Edward R. Palacko, Sr., 94, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Pauline A. (Ruczinski) Palacko, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. He was born in Willington, CT, son of the late George and Susan (Pallo) Palacko. Eddie attended Willington schools and Windham Tech High School. He served our country in the United States Army and Merchant Marines during World War II, and retired as a supervisor from the Connecticut Water Company after 34 years of employment. He was also a parishioner of St. Edward Church. Eddie is survived by his four children, Edward R. Palacko, Jr. and his wife Elaine, Dorothy Sears, Sandra Palacko, and Sharon Watkinson; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Amelia Gavine; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six brothers, Steve, George, Jr., Andrew, John, Michael, and Paul; and two sisters, Helen Dymerski and Mary Sabourin. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
