Edward H. "Neddy" Panciera's Obituary
Edward H. “Neddy” Panciera, 92, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Dorothy M. “Dot” Panciera, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Oscar and Theresa (Campo) Panciera. Neddy served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was the store manager at the former Co-Op Food Store. He was also a member of St. Edward Church, and honorary life member of the Italian Benefit Society. Neddy is survived by his four children, Harold Panciera and his wife Larraine, James Panciera and his wife Martha, Donna Tyrrell and her husband David, and Danny Panciera and his wife Marcia; nine grandchildren, Shawn, Kelly, Melissa, Stephen, Audra, Anna, Jason, Adam and Ben; nine beloved great grandchildren; his loving sister, Edith Bresnahan; two sisters-in-law, Edith Vail and Agnes Fontanella; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Harold, Raymond, Norman, and Roy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 12 P.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
