Always wanted to have a big brother and then I got that with Eddie and Jeff - did everything I could to annoy Eddie through his teen years. He became not only a brother but a good friend eventually and was always so supportive of me - taking time always to listen to what I had going on and made me feel heard in a household of many where I was the ‘middle child’ :) He played a huge role in Patrick’s childhood and upbringing, and saw him everyday for years when Patrick was attending Melissa’s daycare, Eddie was so generous with his home and his time, I’m so glad our kids grew up together as cousins being so close to one another. The memories and events we’ve shared are so simple and yet, the best of times - camping, watching each other’s kids games at Kealy field, cook-outs, family parties & gatherings, graduations, birthdays, recitals. We were together as a family and it’s all that mattered. You never missed my birthday, ever- always sent me a loving text letting me know you were thinking of me, no matter where we drifted in life. I’m smiling at the memory- every time I saw you always saying ‘What’s Up, Dawnie?’ in your combo Boston/New York accent (where did that accent come from? Who knows but it was yours and so uniquely you)!! Love you brother, we will carry you with us always
