Edward Webb, Jr., 80, of Tolland Ave., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at UMASS Memorial Health Care Center, Worcester, MA. He was born in Dakota, West Virginia, son of the late Edward and Rosie (Boling) Webb. Ed was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran serving as a paratrooper and cook, and retired as a group leader from CUNO. He was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl A. (Henderson) Webb of Stafford Springs, CT; his five children, Sandra Peralli and her husband Butch of Tolland, CT, Karen Messier of Moosup, CT, Eddie Ray Webb and his companion Sharon Miville of Willington, CT, Edward Webb III and his wife Sharon of Willington, CT, and Laura Bolieau and her husband Roy of Stafford Springs, CT; two step children, Dwayne Poulin and his wife Sandy of Manchester, CT, and Denise Kellner and her husband Alan of Stafford Springs, CT; a daughter-in-law, Theresa Webb of Mansfield, CT; 15 grandchildren, Marteen Bochicchio, Jason Messier, Jeremie Messier, Heather Bolieau, Tanner Webb, Kayla Webb, Brady Webb, Matthew St. Louis, Steven Kellner, Dwayne Poulin, Jr., Jessica Poulin, Michael Peralli, Joey Peralli, Jennifer Chesney, and Anna Galczynki; four great grandchildren, Zachary, Benjamin, Culista, and Zoe Bochicchio; four sisters, Thelma Conley of Smithers, WV, Anna Mae Smith of Charleston, WV, Lucille Vealy of Kenova, WV, and Rosalee Vaughn of Goshen, IN; three brothters, Homer Webb of Stafford Springs, CT, Wilford Webb of Cannan, ME, and Randal Webb of Vero Beach, FL; a special niece and two nephews, Shirley Jean Dunnick, Charles Asbury, and Roger Asbury; and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberley Ann; and three sisters, Arbutus, Mona Ruth, and Margie. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
